III Avenue Local decides for itself what to cover and what to publish. No council, official, political party or government body reviews or approves our pages before they are published.

We report what records and our own checks show, and we say plainly what we do not know. We do not give officials or councils scores, ratings or rankings.

If anyone who runs III Avenue Local stands for election, takes a post in a political party or accepts a political appointment, they will hand over all editorial decisions before taking up the role, and this page will say so. If there is no one to hand over to, the site will stop publishing until there is.

"III Avenue Local" takes no money from councils, officials, political parties or government bodies. If it ever accepts money or any other kind of aid from anyone, this page will name them. As time goes on, more funding will be needed to help expand to all 774 local governments, but when the time is right, avenues for funding will be opened to the public (No pun intended).
